Three Images

This is a still life of 2 crabs sitting above a Balmain bug on a reflective platter. It is drawn in graphite and white charcoal on a midtoned paper and was completed for my HSC. The crabs are very strong but are ornamental and have a lot of beautiful, organic patterns on the surface of their shells.

Tadao Ando's Hyakudan-en Garden at Awaji Yumebutai's geometry of stairs and gardens is Escher-esque. The Yumebutai complex was built after the 1995 Kobe Earthquake and this garden of over 100 flower beds is a monument dedicated to the people who lost their lives in the earthquake.

c.

These are some Koi in a Japanese Garden in Kanazawa, Japan. There was a very small waterfall underneath the branch on the right hand side which they all wanted to sit under since they liked the feeling of the water falling on their heads.
